MODELCARE HOSPITAL AND CONSULTANCY LTD is a Multi-Specialist Hospital located at no. 1 Bilyamin Usman Street, off Ebitu Ukiwe Street, Jabi District, Abuja, Nigeria. The hospital is a Private Limited Liability Company, registered with the CAC as a Specialist Hospital. Modelcare Hospital is well equipped to meet both inpatient and outpatient medical/surgical needs of Nigerians and foreigners residing in the Federal Capital and from other parts of the country in search of quality healthcare services at an affordable cost. The Hospital is also accredited by the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) to provide healthcare services to insured persons.
In order to bridge the existing gap in our healthcare system, the management of the Hospital has assembled a team of highly skilled medical professionals in various fields of medicine and surgery; backed by state-of-the-art equipment with modern technology to provide efficient healthcare services for all categories of persons. Our strategic location in the heart of the city of Abuja coupled with the serene environment makes it easily accessible to our valued patients. Virtually all services run 24/7 without interruption. There is no minute of the day that a patient would not find a doctor on duty in this hospital. There are nurses, doctors, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, technical staff, cleaners, and security personnel on duty round the clock. This has made this hospital stand out as a reliable facility to visit any time of the day or night. Our name is getting established in Abuja and beyond.

All Modelcare Hospital’s patient room are serene with cable TV, air conditioners, digital call bell and clean Rest room. Our Private rooms also have refrigerator and wardrobe in addition.
Laboratory
We have auto-analyzers that can do several tests (e.g liver function test, kidney function test, serum lipid profile, complete blood count, blood sugar etc, in a short time). Most of our patients sit down and wait for their results and then complete their consultation and go home, rather than go home and come back again for review of laboratory results.

Pharmacy
We have over 500 varieties of drugs in our stock. It is very unusual to have a prescription that is unavailable in the Pharmacy. There are good numbers of Pharmacist/Technicians in the service of Modelcare Hospital. The Pharmacy is open 24hours, 7 days in a week. Drugs are sold to inpatients and outpatients, as well as patients from other hospitals with prescriptions.
Laundry
We have industrial washing machines and driers. With these, we can maintain a quick turnover of patient linen, and reduce or completely remove the restriction on number of bed spread changes a patient can have in one day.
Power Sources
We have a 100 KVA generating plant and 10 KVA Solar inverter in addition to the national electricity supply. With these, we can run the hospital 24/7 without power interruption lasting over one minute. We cannot afford a short-down, because our computers and most of our equipment are completely dependent on electricity.
Electronic Medical Records
Our records in Modelcare Hospital are electronic, and we are gradually phasing out paper records. Electronic records are safer for the patient, and, unless granted access, individuals cannot access records of procedures carried out on patients in Modelcare Hospital.
Labour Room
Our labour room have new digital delivery bed, disposable delivery packs, baby resuscitator, oxygen, resuscitation equipment.
Theatre
With brand new Anaesthetic machine, Laparoscopic equipment, endoscopes, Operating Microscope, spare Anaesthetic machine, multiple suction machines, spare diathermy machine, piped with oxygen supply and ventilator, multiple safety measures e.g theatre light which is on UPS, surgical procedures are safely carried out on our patients.
